Thanks to a lot of people on this page contacting your senators and representatives, enough of them stood by their campaign promises and refused to accept any budget deal that included any version of Obamacare's Medicaid expansion. And you know what? We were proven right! No nursing homes are going to close and Oklahoma will still have a higher-than-average Medicaid reimbursement rate. OHCA's claims were half-baked at best; sadly they terrified a lot of vulnerable people. We'll keep this page going with an eye toward the next 2017 legislative session. Eternal vigilance.... In the meantime, we'll post positive stories about ways to make health care better without relying on the politicians.
